So from what I saw from most of my friends' blog.I notice that most of them make comparison on festival in different countries.So I decided to make one of my own since I am not quite sure if I am doing the right thing previously.Okay lets begin.Christmas was introduced by the Christian missionaries, and for many years the only people who celebrated it were those who had turned to the Christian faith.What I enjoyed most is how the Singaporeans celebrate their Christmas.Christmas celebrations in Singapore are very popular all across the world. People from various place come here just to experience the grand Christmas festival of Singapore. Here you will find one of the merriest celebrations of Christmas. The theme of the Christmas parties and the decorations differ every year. Marina Bay and Orchard Road, which are two of the most vibrant places renowned for Christmas celebrations completely transforms into a sort of fantasy wonderland. If you wish, you can also explore the several tourist attractions of Singapore via the open top bus tour ride.
Christmas that is celebrated in Japan is rather different with Christmas that are celebrated in Singapore. Christmas season in Japan is full of meaning and is almost universally observed. The idea of exchanging gifts seems to appeal strongly to the Japanese people. The tradesmen have commercialized Christmas just as our western shops have done. For several weeks before the day, the stores shout Christmas. There are decorations and wonderful displays of appropriate gifts for men, women, and children -- especially children.The story of the Child Jesus born in a manger is fascinating to the little girls of Japan, for they love anything having to do with babies. In the scene of the Nativity they become familiar for the first time with a cradle, for Japanese babies never sleep in cradles.Many western customs in observing Christmas have been adopted by the Japanese. Besides exchanging gifts they eat turkey on Christmas Day, and in some places there are even community Christmas trees. They decorate their houses with evergreens and mistletoe, and in some homes Christmas carols are sung gaily.In Japan there is a god or priest known as Hoteiosho, who closely resembles our Santa Claus. He is always pictured as a kind old man carrying a huge pack. He is thought to have eyes in the back of his head. It is well for the children to be good when this all-seeing gentleman is abroad.New Year's Day is the most important day of the whole calendar in Japan. On New Year's Eve the houses are cleaned thoroughly from top to bottom, and are decorated for the morrow. when everything has been made clean and neat the people of the house dress themselves in their finest clothes. Then the father of the household marches through the house, followed by all the family, and drives the evil spirits out. He throws dried beans into every corner bidding the evil spirits withdraw and good luck enter.
So what is the uncommon part between Christmas celebrated in Japan and Singapore? For some people, they define Christmas as the day when Jesus was born into this w=orld to cleanse our sins, save us from evils and bring peace.Most of the countries make effort in decorating the streets to welcome this great day.However ,Malaysian doesn't seems to take part in the effort of decorating the streets.All we can see are banners and very common decoration such as ribbons on trees and other more.I am not trying to sound very offensive but I do hope Malaysia can be the most wonderful and nice country during most of the festivals.We should put more efforts in decorating our home.Thats all from me now.

Comparison Of Ways Of Celebrating Christamas
Another Unusual Festival !!
Sine my previous work is kinda short so I decided to do two.I do not really have much time to do on searching so I will just keep this brief. Another unusual festival i found is the Zombie Walk festival.A zombie walk also known as a zombie mob, zombie march, zombie horde, zombie lurch, zombie shuffle or zombie pub crawl is an organized public gathering of people who dress up in zombie costumes. Usually taking place in an urban centre, the participants make their way around the city streets and through shopping malls in a somewhat orderly fashion and often limping their way towards a local cemetery or other public space.Don't you think this guys are way to gross..No offense but if I saw one of these 'things' crawling on the streets , I will be sure to smack them with an available trash can before I start running like there is no tomorrow.
Monkeys' Buffet Festival
Among most of the festivals ,I decided to find something more interesting.And this comes through my search >Monkey Buffet .Ever wonder not only human deserved a nice and delicious meal in buffet style?Think again, because these lucky monkeys also deserved a chance to enjoy like us.Every year, all of the province's approximately 600 monkeys are invited to eat fruits and vegetables during an annual feast held in honor of Rama, a hero of the Ramayana, who, it is said, rewarded his friend and ally, Hanuman the Monkey King, with the fiefdom of what is now Lopburi.Aren't this amazing even monkeys eat buffet.
